Record label Skår Music was founded by me, Erik Nordström, for collection and release of music where I take part. Please follow the home page of Skår Music!

New music will be continuously released here with the following groups: Sea Deer, Stroem, Bergroth/Nordström Eclectric and Limbic Resonance.

Knaster, originally named Knaster åt folket, used to be active in Umeå 2005-2010. Three records were released, that are now available on Spotify and Apple Music. Since then, however, this group has been dormant. On this home page of mine, there are links to the pieces of Knaster music that have been most important to me.

Sea Deer is my one man personal project, where I programme, compose and produce instrumental electronic music. I hope that this music of mine will appeal also to those who are not very familiar with jazz. In 2015 an EP with Sea Deer was released by me, to which there is a link. Friends of mine contribute with their musicality: Andreas Fridlund, Johan Örtlund, Kalle Widén, Peter Holmqvist, Erik Ivarsson and Johan Hjalmarsson! On september 15th, 2021, the album Solitude was released!

Bergroth/Nordström Eclectic is a project with pianist Daniel Bergroth. Together we explore sounds and melodies using saxophone, live electronics and piano.

Limbic Resonance is a jazz trio based in Göteborg, where I play the saxophone, Yasuhito Mori the double bass and Henrik Wartel the drums. We mostly play music composed by me. On the single Corona, Adam Lindblom is playing the bass. On December 2, 2021, our debut album, Connectivity, was released.

Stroem is a jazz quartet of two saxophones, bass and drums. Originally, this group was a trio, where I played the saxophone, Andreas Axelsson the drums and Johan Örtlund the bass. We recorded a record in 2015, Växjö. However, Andreas Axelsson has now left the group and Mårten Magnefors has since taken over the drums. The second saxophone part is played by Lisen Rylander.

Best regards

/ Erik
